First time here, or coming back?

Registration and filing happen on the authorised MCA system. This page explains which account type you need and what to have ready, so the first attempt succeeds.

How much access do you actually need?

Just looking

Master data, filing status, DIN status, fee enquiry and every guidance page are open to anyone. No login, no identifier.

Save your progress

A name, an email and a mobile number. Nothing about a company, and no government identifier. Enough to keep a checklist and an exposure calculation between visits.

How registration runs

  1. 1
    Choose the user category

Registered user for read-only services; business or professional user to file anything. The category decides which services appear after login.

  2. 2
    Enter your details and verify

PAN for an Indian applicant, passport for a foreign national. Mobile and email are verified by OTP. Foreign directors experiencing OTP failures can use the IVR route or raise a helpdesk ticket.

  3. 3
    Set credentials and security questions

The user ID becomes your identity for every filing. Keep the recovery details current — a lost business-user ID is slow to recover.

  4. 4
    Associate your DSC

Business and professional users must link a Class 3 DSC through the emBridge utility before any form can be signed. One DSC links to one MCA user ID only.

  5. 5
Upgrade or merge an old V2 account

Anyone who filed on V2 must upgrade or merge that ID into V3 rather than creating a second account.
