What registering a company actually takes

The day count is time spent reaching a CIN. The clocks are windows you are given afterwards — INC-20A and the first auditor — and they are counted apart, because adding them produced a first draft of this page claiming registration takes 215 working days.

The two money figures are deliberately not one number. What the State and the Union levy is owed; what a Certifying Authority or a professional charges is negotiated. Every site that adds them together produces a figure nobody is billed.

India genuinely does this well. SPICe+ Part B applies for incorporation, DIN, PAN, TAN, EPFO, ESIC, professional tax, a bank account and GSTIN in a single form. The difficulty is not the number of applications; it is that the portal never tells you they are bundled.
