- Creation or modification of a charge other than one on debentures.
- When it is due
- Within 30 days of creation. The Registrar may allow a further 30 days on payment of an additional fee, and beyond that up to 60 more days on an ad valorem fee — after which it cannot be registered at all.
- What being late costs
- Additional and ad valorem fees rise sharply with delay. This is one of the few windows that closes permanently.
